The Jack Style From The Deakins Collection

The Deakins footwear collection is the brain child of Craig Nicholas Tate, a fashion graduate who identified the need for a range of designer menswear for the fashion conscious male who was strapped for cash. The Deakins footwear collection was launched in 2001 with the aim of providing stylish, yet affordable designer footwear and filled the gap in the UK market for high-end fashion at more affordable prices.

The Deakins collection shares the same philosophy as the other collections bought to the fashion arena by Craig Nicholas Tate – among them is the Nicholas Deakins Green Label which is designed to offer diverse styling in combination with superior construction and Deakins Kids a range of footwear for the youth market.

One of the key styles in the current Deakins shoes collection is the Jack style of shoe. This shoe is available in two contemporary colours for a versatile look – black and brown. Coined as the ‘leather style pumps’, the Jack style of shoe is made from high-quality leather with a contrasting fabric upper. These cleverly designed shoes look great teamed with jeans, combats or trousers for a casual day look or edgy night image.

The leather of the shoes meets in a peak around the contour of the toes to hint at a trendy moccasin style. The contrasting fabric panels on the shoe uppers dress-down the smartness of the shoe and give them a quirky designer twist. As with some of the other styles in the Deakins collection, these have just two lace loops to add subtle additional designer detailing to the shoe.

Designed to follow the shape of the foot, the Jack style offers comfort mile after mile and carry the same key features as the rest of the brand – sole designs and sole branding which are not found on any other brands within the UK designer footwear market. In this instance, the sole design is quite subtle branding which complements the style of the Jack shoe.

Unlike many of the other styles within the Deakins shoes collection, the Jack style carries only subtle branding. There is a fabric label to the side of the shoe and another on the tongue to discreetly convey the designer element of the shoes. Further Deakins branding is displayed on the insole of the shoe in bold lettering.
